About

Alen Arjad, MA, AMFT, CADC-I

My name is Alen Arjad and I'm an Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC-I). I practice psychotherapy working with individuals, couples, and families in California.

Through my training and experience, I work with people to shape and encourage functional insights, repairative experiences, and effective practices that create a sense of ease and contentment with one's relationship to themselves, others, and the world at large.

Since 2015, I have worked towards my own personal ambition of establishing a source of esteem that aligns with my abilities and values. Throughout this journey I have achieved certification as a Certified Alcohol and Drug counselor and worked in both public and private settings with individuals and families struggling with addiction. Further, my personal path lead to a desire to be helpful to a broader population and achievement of a Master of Arts Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and experience in working with those struggling with a variety of intrapsychic and relational stress.

Outside of formal training, my personal experience in the helping field has proven to me that what is essential in coping with life's stressors are the relationships that are developed along the way. Whether one's stress manifests as depression, anxiety, grief, relational ruptures, addictions, or trauma, the quality of the relationship that is developed between myself and those I work with is of primary importance. In maintaining grace, passion, honesty, and wisdom within the therapeutic relationship, I am able to walk alongside and with others as they efficiently forge the change that they desire.

If you are struggling with life's inevitable stressors or just need some support along the way, don't hesitate to reach out. You can create a life of comfort and fulfillment and you don't have to do it alone.
